BUILDING FROM SOURCE:

Building from source should work on any UNIX platform that has X11
with Athena Widgets (libXaw). Just type ./configure and make. Note
that as of the 2.0 release, this has been tested only RedHat Linux
(6.1 through 9) and only with gcc and gnu make. Version 2.2 includes
fixes to support gcc versions up to 3.2. Although care has been taken
to avoid being dependent upon these environments, it is possible that
there are some minor portability issues. If you get this software to
compile in other environments, please send us your changes so that
they may be incorporated into a future release.

There is one other known issue: we have not been able to recently
compile an executable that works correctly against Athena Widgets when
creating macros. The buttons on the screen go crazy after attempting
to add a macro. Quitting and restarting solves this problem. No
significant effort has been made to fix this, but patches are welcome.
We are more likely to abandon that code base in favor of something
based on a more modern toolkit.
